Highly recommend this book especially if you liked the first season of “True Detective”. Well researched and smartly written with so many biblical and literary gems woven through out. Loses a few point with some cringy David Caruso SVU and Jack Reacher-like moments, but no one is perfect.
Thought provoking and philosophical if you are open to it.
