Spotify Not Playing Correct Version of Song
Has anyone else noticed that Spotify will play a different version of the song you liked? For example, let's say there is a single release of a song, and also an album release of the same song. I decide to like the album release of the song. If I shuffle my liked songs, and that song comes up, it will instead play the single release version, even though that's not the one in my likes songs library.
Is Spotify trying to manipulate listens on songs with multiple releases? Is the algorithm so bad that it just searches for the song each time rather than playing what is liked? I'm just really confused why this happens because it makes it incredibly annoying when I'm looking through my recently played, or when Spotify curates me a playlist, and half the songs aren't even in my library.
