Some of you might remember my post from a couple months ago where I said the espresso machine was basically an aesthetic purchase 😭
Well. Things have escalated.
Started with a French press. The moka pot and French press now both live in a drawer. Current setup is the Dedica 890, Hario V60, Aeropress, Timemore C2s, and just picked up the Cipher Pulse kettle which I'm genuinely in love with.
Still mostly a black coffee person — 2-3 cups a day, mostly Americanos, cold brew and pour overs. Milk drinks maybe 3-4 times a week at most.
The C2s has been solid but grinding for espresso daily is getting old. Ready to go electric and I'm stuck between the DF54 and the Cipher Rift 64. Single dosing, split use between espresso and V60.
Would love to hear from anyone who's used either — especially on the Dedica. Also open to other suggestions in the same range.
