The entire show was filmed today. I’m guessing it was for promotional footage of the new cast. There were 3 stationary cameras and 1 drone. They were not as distracting as I thought they’d be, but I think that depends on where you were sitting.
Side note 1: JJ’s portrayal of Bobby has a much different feel - I like that he is making it his own rather than just trying to copy Jonathan. His singing was excellent.
Side note: I was in the last row and some idiot a few seats down decided to record on her phone. Folks, she sat directly behind the control room, who could see EVERYTHING. The house manager came out and ripped her a new one. Said idiot looked so embarrassed and guilty - and hopefully learned a lesson.
