Worked on this tugboat deck recently and wanted to share the process because a lot of people don’t see what goes into marine coatings.

The surface was heavily rusted, pitted, and exposed to constant moisture.

Process:
– Full surface prep (mechanical sanding + rust removal)
– Spot priming where needed
– Sealing problem areas
– Full coating system applied for protection

The biggest difference isn’t the paint it’s the prep.
If you skip that, it fails fast in this environment.

This one came out solid and should hold up way better against water and wear.
