Anyone made the south Florida to north Florida moved and liked it? We have small children so family friendly is important to us.

For context : We live in Jupiter (myself, my husband and our 3 children). We are talking about moving up to north Florida (Fernandina Beach maybe?) since it’s slightly more affordable and less crowded. My husband’s family is all on Merritt Island and we don’t want to be too too far from them but we just really don’t like the area they are in.
