Wayfair canceled my order for an item that’s still in stock, just at a 50% higher price.

Ordered a patio furniture set this weekend. Got an email claiming my order had to be canceled because the item was “no longer available.”

Except… it’s still listed online, just at a much higher price point.

Called customer service and the rep confirmed there are still plenty in stock and attributed the cancelation to a “warehouse processing issue.” She claims she is unable to price match to my original purchase price and offered me a measly 10% off coupon.

I have requested a callback from a manager, but the rep claimed her manager would also be unable to price match.

While I await this phone call, has anyone else dealt with this? Purchase an item, have it canceled, with a suggested resolution of purchasing the item again at a higher price?
