I made the switch to Apple Music at the beginning of this year. I did this because their payout to musicians is higher than the other top streaming platform.

However, this application is barely usable.

On my iPhone, gapless playback is nonexistent. Songs, buffer constantly even when I’m at full bars on5G plus.

The app often gives up and just skips to the next song. This is started happening multiple times a day for the past two weeks.

On my M5 MacBook Pro, the app simply doesn’t work. The only thing I have access to on that device is my library. Not the service that I pay for.

On my windows device, I constantly have to clear the cache or reinstall the app.

For a company that charges a premium for its products this is embarrassing.

How a multi trillion dollar company who pimps this product at the Super Bowl not have basic playback figured out yet?

Please don’t get me started on the complete missing features that the other top streaming service has had for over a decade. I tried TIDAL and their app had different problems, but that company is nowhere near as large as Apple corporation. It sucks that I might have to go back to the AI loving dumpster fire that is Spotify.
