[TOMT][Cartoon Short][1999-2001] Weird Cartoon Network short about a fly entering famous paintings
I’m trying to identify a very short animated series that aired on Cartoon Network around 1999–2001 (possibly on Cartoon Network Japan).
Details I remember:
- Episodes were about 1 minute long
- Almost no dialogue
- Classical-style background music
- A small black fly was the main recurring character
- The fly would enter famous paintings and annoy the people inside them
- The painted characters were realistic and slightly animated (moving faces/body parts)
- The tone was surreal, slightly creepy, but funny
Paintings I specifically remember appearing:
- Mona Lisa
- The Milkmaid (Vermeer)
- The Gleaners (Millet)
- The Fifer / Boy with a Flute
One scene I remember clearly:
A boy in a painting is playing a flute while tapping rhythm with his foot, and the fly keeps buzzing around and bothering him.
The ending credits had a black background with white text.
It was NOT a normal cartoon series — more like a short interstitial/mini short shown between programs.
Does anyone remember this or know the title?
