Why would my cold water back feed to my hot water lines
Im installing a new water heater but my main shut off is bad so I am replacing it as well. While cutting it out I noticed my cold water line feeds off to my hot water line right before it goes into the slab. There is a shut off valve before it hits the hot water side but why would it have been done like that??
