Bench and notice period
Currently, I’m in a project, but I’ve requested a release from the project and would like to move to the bench.
If I stay on the bench for one month and get allocated to another project, that’s fine for me. But if I don’t get any project even after two months on the bench, what usually happens?
Will the company terminate employees immediately, or will they ask us to resign and serve the 3-month notice period?
Also, if I stay on the bench for one month and then submit my resignation, will I still need to serve the full 3-month notice period, or is there a chance they may release me earlier?
