I’ve been studying astrology for a few years now and have gotten pretty comfortable understanding my chart overall. A lot of my placements and aspects make sense to me, especially when I look back at past events in my life.

Where I keep getting stuck, though, is career.

From what I understand, career in astrology is usually tied to the 10th house (calling/reputation), 6th house (daily work), and 2nd house (income). In my case, what stands out most is a 10th house stellium I have my Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Taurus there.

Based on that, you’d think career direction would be clearer or more stable, but it’s honestly been the opposite. I’ve struggled to find consistent work, and even when I’ve pursued things I felt passionate about (including starting businesses), they haven’t worked out long-term.

The past several years have been especially unstable career-wise, which I’ve seen some people link to Uranus transiting Taurus, but I’m not sure how much weight to give that.

At this point, I feel pretty lost and frustrated when it comes to career direction.

So I guess my question is can astrology actually help you identify a career path that suits you? And if so, how would you interpret strong 10th house placements that don’t seem to translate into real world stability?

I’d really appreciate any insights or perspectives.
