Brought my baby to Pororo park today to celebrate his upcoming 1st birthday. We were having a good time and went to play with the bubbles at the performance hall when a random big kid (around 5 yr old) came over to touch my baby. He walked over and suddenly reached out to grab my baby’s cheeks. His caretaker/maid was also shocked so she pulled his left hand away and that probably angered him. So he responded by using his right hand to give a hard slap on my baby’s face.

Of course my baby’s face turned red from the slap and he cried. This is totally an unprovoked violence. We called the father over who apologised to us briefly, but he didn’t bother educating his kid. I told the kid to apologise to my baby but he didn’t and laughed it off with a smug look. What more could I have done for my baby? I feel like a failed parent watching my baby being slapped yet the kid doesn’t even have a single ounce of remorse. And it seems like the father doesn’t care.
