I’ve been working on a private automated trading system for MetaTrader 5. It’s not just a simple moving average crossover – it’s a multi-engine setup that handles:

• Market structure analysis (BOS, CHOCH, FVG, order blocks)
• Liquidity sweep detection with confirmation logic
• Dynamic risk & position sizing (with safety checks)
• Multiple strategy modes (SMC, volume impulses, range breaks, mean reversion)
• Real-time performance tracking + trade logging
• A full dark-mode UI for monitoring and control

The bot runs 24/5, manages partial closes, trailing stops, time-based exits, and even includes optional Telegram alerts and a Monte Carlo robustness module.

Right now it’s in live testing on a demo account. I’m curious – for those who’ve built or used similar systems:

• What’s the most unexpected issue you ran into after going live?
• Any creative ways you handle news events or low-volatility periods?
• How do you balance between signal quality and number of trades?

Not looking to share code or sell anything – just genuinely interested in trading system design discussions. What new things can I add/change?
