I took my beagle, Lavinia, to the vet today because she has really reduced her food intake over the last 5 days. I have another beagle and they usually race each other to see who can finish first. But she’s been refusing food and then will eat a meal very grudgingly. The vet said her stomach looked a little distended, no teeth problems, then did a complete bloodwork. Everything came back normal except 2 liver enzymes that were very high. She said she wasn’t concerned with it and sent us home. Lavinia just vomited all her food from the day, won’t eat anything, her tail is down and she’s sleepy. I’m concerned. Any advice would be appreciated.
