I’m looking for a possibly Australian YA book about a restaurant held hostage by a man or boy with a gun
Main character is a teenage girl Freya or Freida maybe? Big focus on films, think she worked on a video shop, talks about clockwork orange etc
End of siege the gun is found to be carved of balsa wood. Any ideas?
