Hey guys im not sure where to start with this issue. Sometimes she fires on first crank but othertimes she wont fire up on first or sometimes second crank. She will go first try even after sitting for 12+ hours. After engine fires up, i get a plume of white (maybe blue) smoke.
I recently deleted it and this whole startup issue i sort of chalked up to emissions choking it out. On install i noticed there was a bit of oil pooling on the belly pan - which appeared to be from the turbo intercooler. I dont see how this would be a start up issue though. And I figured it was from the EGR dying.
once its running it runs perfectly fine. During my googling I ran across the ticking timebomb that is the CP4 and I wanted to check in with you guys since I'm pretty new to TDI but i do have some basic auto/mechanical skills.
