I’m hoping someone can help here as this is doing my head in! We have a lovely new rescue (5wks in today). she is a 5yo ex racer, and unfortunately she lost a claw almost 2 weeks ago (and is wearing her muzzle while in the house instead of the cone of shame), then the next day had 16 teeth out! Apart from being a bit bored she seems to be doing fine.

Then today happened, she was out, nice walk and did her business (pee and poo) and all seemed fine. Then she peed on the carpet in the hall, no indication she needed to go. Accidents happen… i wandered out to the shops just now (after normal lunchtime walk) to get a message from my wife that she’d peed in the living room! What is going on? Any thoughts/advice greatly appreciated.

The title says it all really. Got a beautiful ex racing rescue 4 weeks ago and she managed to lose a claw.

Understandably it is annoying her and she keeps licking it.

The vet has given her a cone of shame, but how the hell do I keep it on! I just watched her slip out of it and her martingale as if it was nothing…
