Hi guys!

I need products recommendations - especially on whether Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Cream might be relevant for me.

So I've been dealing with acne on my cheeks for 3 years now and I've came to the realization that PIE might not be the cause for the red blemishes as I thought.

Basically the redness is fluctuating, it comes as go which brings me to believe my cheeks are dealing with inflammation and lingering acne.

The only things that helped me with redness was some acne treatment zinc balm I used and helped instantly. But after very few uses it didn't do much anymore, could just be the balm being expired.

I use: the inkey list 10% azelaic acid, de la cruz acne treatment 5% sulfur for sensetive skin and Avene tolerance control as a moisturizer (only night as it's too heavy for summer use). For cleansing I use bioderma sensibio micellar water at morning and garnier oil mixed micellar water at night.

Both azelaic acid and sulfur offer not much but verg temporary help.. at the end of the day, the redness persists and I have no idea how to treat it.

Would highly highly appreciate any help or thoughts

Hey guys!

So I've been a barefooter for about a year now, I strictly only wore barefoot sandals (xero genesis) and also walk/run with no shoes frequently.

Before that I also hated closed shoes with a passion and just avoided them completly, so I was wearing only source sandals that let the toes free for years.

I've been spiraling a lot around what closed shoe to buy and I desperately need one. There's only one shop in my country and I finally got to go there physically and try on shoes.

They mostly have vivo and so I tried about 5 different models.

I tried them all in different sizes, like 4 sizes range.

And nothing fits. With every single shoe I encountered the same weird problem. Even tho the toe box is wide, especially with vivo how it's squareish around the big toe - my big toe just automatically squeezes inwards with the rest of my toes and so instead of filling the shape of the shoe, it leaves weird space in the big toe area.

It literally hurt my big toe and I felt lots of pressure there.

Awful drawing sorry but yeah, I have the perfect foot shape for vivo (drawing not the best, my small toes are smaller, it's more tapered). Egyptian shaped toes, all tapered in size towards my big toe with a good gap between the big toe and the rest and some little gaps between each toe. I'm so puzzeled.

It's like there was this weird pressure that I have no idea where it came from that squeezed my big toe inwards and my foot also leaning towards the side.

I later also tried a saugaro sneakers model and xero hfs 2 (don't remember which ones) and encountered the exact same problem.

I tried - different sizes, tying in different ways, walking/standing/sitting, taking the insole out..

What is wrong with my feet?

Did anyone else encountered this problem as well?

I know people will recommend 5 toe shoes, I tried them on for the first time in the shop as well and hated them so so much.

I have sensory processing issues and simply couldn't handle fabric between my small toes ):

Tabi shoes will probably be perfect but nothing avaliable locally and ordering from overseas is tricky, pricey and a headache in my country.. especially with shoes when I'm already super picky.

Also, I desperately need normal closed shoes to work with and in more formal and strict settings where I can't dress however I want
