does anyone else feel more productive at night than during the day?

I cannot focus at all during daylight hours but the moment it hits 10pm something switches and I can study for hours. everyone tells me to fix my sleep schedule but honestly this is the only time studying actually works for me. is this a real thing or am I just avoiding daytime responsibilities?

walked into that exam feeling genuinely prepared. had done everything right — notes, revision, practice questions. came out having blanked on things I knew perfectly the night before. that one failure made me completely rethink what studying actually means. has anyone else had a moment that completely changed their approach?

I sit in class and follow everything perfectly. I even feel confident during the lesson. But the moment I close my notes and try to solve something independently it is like I never learned it at all. Is this just me or does everyone experience this and how do you actually fix it?

Has anyone else experienced this? Like the information was there the whole time but your brain needed a full stop to actually process it. Now I am scared to study too hard without breaks. Is there actual science behind this?
