I’ve been an Avs fan since 99, jumped in during the playoffs and the Avs/Wings rivalry had me hooked instantly.

Quick question about those 1999-00 and 2000–01 teams: I remember the top line being talked about like it was the best in hockey. That was a talking point, they were referred to as the #1 line hockey(I think mainly by John Kelly and Peter McNab).

I think I remember the composition but can anyone confirm? I know Sakic was at center, but a little fuzzy on the wingers. Was it Sakic, Hejduk, Tanguay, or am I mixing that up?
