I started playing around with Reddit as part of an AEO strategy. It’s honestly working but a client account was banned from a sub even though post were not promotional and community driven. When I inquired about it more, TLDR: they didn’t like that a business had a profile and presence on Reddit with links back to their own site, even is posts were not promotional.

A bit torn because I have seen brands (like Philadelphia Cream Cheese) be successful here, I’m wondering if it’s just the wrong sub and I got some mods that didn’t like the brand (it was in their local city). Now torn about what to do, do I a) power forward and just be super cautious with the same brand profile, accepting some subs won’t like a brand profile in there at all, or b) is is just better to not hand a brand profile at all and manage personal profiles?

Open to honest thoughts!

Hi all, we connected a GA4 event to Google Ads (it was the only way to get the conversion data) but the problem is that while the event data is showing in GA4, it is not in Google Ads. Do you know why this would be and how to fix it? We would like to run search campaigns with this conversion optimization once we get enough data generated there.

Hello all, we took over a Google Ads account running only search campaigns and also accepted a Google promotional offer for a $5,000 USD credit if we spend a certain amount in 60 days (this is important, will mention why shortly). The client is concerned about the Cost per Conversion getting higher for non branded terms, but a few things regarding this:

  1. We are running maximize conversions as the optimization as we will not be able to spend enough in the time frame to claim the Google Ads credit with a target CPA and a bid cap.
  2. Before the client had dynamic search ads running in the non branded ad group, which was hitting mostly branded traffic. We paused that and seperated ads into a non branded and branded ad group, which was also not happening before.

I believe that it's not fair to compared the non-branded cost per conversion to the overall cost per conversion before we took over because branded and non branded terms were not seperated as they were before. The only other solution is doing a target CPA and not worying about the promo credit.

Would like to know your feedback and how you would approach 😄
