Hey Guys!👋

I'm a student working on this project to tackle something most of all struggle with - watching lecture recordings at 2x coz it's hard to quicky detect the topics we want to watch (and our short attention span).

To help with this, I've created this prototype that automatically generates chapter indexes for lecture videos! (attached is a demo video because visuals > words). Here’s what it does:
Upload a lecture → it processes → get a video player with clickable topics.

Key parts show as red markers, skippable bits in grey, so you can jump straight to what matters.

I’d love to hear what you think — is this something you’d actually use? Does it solve a real pain point?

Also looking for people to test it with real lectures (happy to meet on campus / DM)! I’ve only tried it on a small set of videos so far, so more testing = very helpful to know how accurate it is.

Thanks for reading this long message!
