Friends, I need help checking the security of two services.

I want to choose a service for encrypted one-time messages for personal use.

The choice is between privnote.com and confimsg.com.

I checked both through VirusTotal and also inspected them in DevTools to confirm that they don’t send the text in plain form.

Privnote seems to use slightly older encryption than Confimsg, does that significantly affect security?

Also, Privnote has ads and tracking scripts. Could those scripts potentially steal the text that I enter?

Just pushed an update to TabBro with some things you've been asking for:

Better history management

Each history entry now has a delete button. You can delete a single entry, wipe everything from a domain at once, or block a domain entirely so it never gets tracked again in TabBro and in your browser history. You can manage your blocked domains list anytime.

Customize your section tabs

You can now reorder tabs by drag & drop and set custom colors for each one. Changes preview live so you see exactly what it'll look like before saving.

Bookmarks cleanup

Deleting a bookmark in TabBro now also removes it from your actual browser bookmarks, so you don't have to do it twice.
