MY PROCESS:

Started studying around the beginning of February.

I was studying probably 2 - 3 hours per day. Monday thru Thursday. Friday i only studied for like 20 minutes. Weekends didn’t look at PMI stuff at all.

I did Andrew Ramdayal’s Udemy Course.

I watched his videos at 1.5x speed once.

Did his Mock Exam once and passed with 72%.

I watched the Mindset section twice.

I watched his 200 Ultra Hard Questions Videos once.

I bought the PMI SH and just did the practice questions, mini practice exams, and the first two practice exams.

My Study Hall percentages:

59 Percentile, 68% Practice, 68% Practice Exam.

I watched Ricardo Vargas PMBOK 6th Edition guide twice at 1.5x.

MY TAKE:

Watch Andrew’s videos 1.5x speed and just learn the PMBOK mindset. Once you have that set, the questions become much easier to understand and answer.

PMI Study Hall combined with Andrew’s video/course, in my honest opinion, is the best combination of study materials.

I would start doing practice questions as soon as possible.

Learn WHY you got answers right AND wrong.

I took the exam in person as I don’t want to wait to see if i passed/failed. Also, it’s easier for me to focus when I’m in an environment that is meant for testing.

People post different percentage numbers on their Study Hall. People also post that their test was easier/harder than Study Hall. Your experience can vary.

Also, look through this subreddit because a lot of people post good advice.

EXAM EXPERIENCE:

Day before exam: I rewatched Andrew’s mindset videos. Stopped studying in the afternoon. Made sure to get 8 hours of sleep.

Took the exam in the morning. Had a big meal 2 hours before with coffee.

My test was Moderate in difficulty; it wasn’t super easy but it wasn’t hard compared to the Study Hall material. BUT i did feel confident throughout the test that I passed. I had like 40 minutes left in my exam when i ended it.

I took the two breaks just to get up and drink water.

Good to you all!
