In season 1 it took Pascal 6 days from the final game to fire Howie Draper. But of course, a coach the days after the season ends can't really do damage the way a GM can. So when can we expect the worst GM in the league to be fired? I hope we don't have to wait until Friday.
Even if you think his roster decisions and personnel management isn't a disaster-it is, but I digress-he should be fired for sending out the "letter from Sirens leadership" on playoffs on February 24th. The team went 2-3-0-9 in the 2nd half of the season and only ended up better than a team deliberately trying to lose, and only by 2 wins. You cannot curse your own team this frequently and stay in a leadership role. 7-0-3-6 before that email went out. 3rd straight season with an extended crash and burn that threw them out of the playoffs. Someone has to take the blame. And more importantly, we need a highly competent GM for the upcoming 4 team expansion.
So what is everyone's guess? Tomorrow? Next week? I'm hoping its already been done and the waiting is just a technicality.
