Commercial oil and sand separator sump pump burned out. Tested after installing and it doesn't turn off when water level gets too low.

Not sure if this is the right place. But I tested the continuity on each of the floats and they all seem to be working as they should. But the control panel shows the "On" float is activating when it's nudged slightly. (The light only glows very dimly and slowly fades.) Is it likely to be an issue with the float or is it likely a control panel issue?

'Bitch' is a far more abrasive word than 'Cunt'.

Ignoring the reclaiming of the word by women and LGBT people.

Bitch always feels way more jarring to hear to me than cunt. Bitch is used to describe someone that is expressing a negative trait that we associate with femininity.

Cunt is gender neutral. It might literally be synonymous with female body parts, but it's used in the same way that we'd use 'dick'. Men and Women can both be dickheads in the same way men and women can both cunts.

For example if a man is scared, his male friends might call him a bitch because they consider fear to be feminine. The same way 'pussy' could be used. But if a man is scared his male friends aren't going to call him a cunt. Someone is a cunt when they're an asshole. Or a dick.

▲ 2 r/braces

I've had my braces for 2.5 years now. It was estimated that I'd get them off around the 2 year mark. I'm at 30 months now and they've told me it's going to be another 5-6 months before I get them off.

I went to my regular dentist to have him confirm that he's happy with their progress and he essentially said "Yep you're ready for Invisalign.". I honestly didn't know I could just switch like that so I asked about it today at my ortho appointment.

They said I can switch but there's it'll cost me $1000 to do so. But there's a catch I guess. They said it'll be around 5 months if I stick with braces but because I have a deep bite it'd be another year or so of Invisalign.

Would you stick with braces for 5 more months or would you pay the $1000 and have Invisalign for a year instead?
