Hey everyone,

I’m hoping to hear from Canadian police officers with experience in municipal policing. If you were starting fresh, which municipal police service in Canada would you apply to, and why? If you are currently with a municipal service, would you choose it again, or would you go somewhere else?

I’m interested in the overall balance of career opportunities, quality of life, affordability, family life, community support, and long-term stability.

I’m mainly asking about municipal services rather than the RCMP/OPP, but I’m open to any honest insight.
