Previously purchased some minor upgrades to stock E3 Max Neo and thermistor, which I believe the wire with glass bead tip is called, got damaged due to me screwing it to tight. So I bought replacements for like $10 and waited two weeks off Amazon, I thought I got the right size being 1.5m but ended up getting a pack of short ones as seen in pictures. So my question is, could I just wrap the original thermistor's wire to a new one?
^(Materials:)
^(-Terminal & Connector assortment 150 pc set)
^(-Normal pliers and nipper pliers)
^(-Ofc the old true length wired thermistor and the new replacement.)
I already cut out of the old one but before I proceed I wanted some type of advice as I never worked with any type of electricity like this but I think it could work. Also just to be clear the new one passes above the 3d printers head in case that was a concern someone may have.
I would like to get the E3 working again since I had a SFF optiplex with some ATX sized parts and so it needs a custom case, it's annoying just seeing it everyday.
