Hi, I’m based in Canada and recently got into making matcha lattes, so I’ve been researching different matcha powders. I’ve noticed that a lot of sellers in Canada and the US seem to be rebranding or repackaging matcha.

I’m curious, where do cafés here actually source their vibrant green matcha for lattes? I’m hoping to find a more direct source and possibly cut out the middleman by ordering from Japan.

I’m not referring to the big established brands, but more on where smaller cafés or suppliers get theirs. Any insight would be really appreciated!
