Set is looking like a banger
I played a derpy temur deck at the pre release. 15 spells and 8 creatures. Just sharing some anecdotal pre release stories, I had a super fun time.
Played the [[Resonating Lute]] that doubles mana for instants and sorceries and got to do some unreal plays with large amounts of mana. Also found myself actually drawing cards with the lute because it was easy to keep a large hand size with [[Divergent Equation]] and [[Embrace the Paradox]] and [[Elemental Mascot]]. Not sure if the lute is good in a draft environment, but it worked out well in sealed, and made it feel like I was playing on a totally different power level than my opponents whenever it was in play. In the end it's a 4 mana do-nothing artifact, so we'll see where it falls. I likely just saw the top end of its power level.
I love me any set where I can cram a bunch of 5+cmc instants and sorceries into a deck and have it actually be viable. Was able to go over the top of an opponent who played [[Moment of Reckoning]] and 4 for 1d me.
Played [[Applied Geometry]] on [[Fractal Tender]] a few times and that is also a complete deluge of value.
