The cicadas are here

Been hearing them for a few days now. Noticed it a few years back and they’ve stuck with me. They’re super loud where I stay and near the court etc but we barely pay the sound any attention, step outside and listen, enjoy!
Cicadas in Mysore are notable for their loud, high-pitched buzzing and shrill shrieks, which often fill the air during hot summer afternoons, particularly around April and early summer. These insects, such as Platypleura capitata, appear annually and are known to swarm tree species like acacia, producing a continuous, ear-splitting sound
