I just got my final grade back and I’m honestly shocked. I finished with a 23/50 on the final and needed 25/50 on the final to pass the course (requirement).(cp363) (overall grade says 50 D- at the top of the grade section on myls not sure if I made it or not)
I emailed my professor earlier for maybe bumping my grade or rechecking my test and he said my exam was “under review,” he made an announcement saying final grades just got released and nothing changed(checked loris don’t see my grade yet). So now I’m stuck knowing my grade is the same and resulting in failling the entire course over literally 2 marks.
I get that rules are rules, but it’s hard not to feel like this is kind of unfair when I was this close. It’s not like I was way off.
Has anyone been in this situation before? Is there anything I can still do (like a regrade or appeal), or am I just out of luck at this point?
Would really appreciate any advice.
