Met my brother in law in artesia to collect pecos diamonds. It rained the day before so the ground was soft and the crystals were clean and easy to see. We ended up collecting about 4 quart bags of pecos diamonds. Next day we drove to Alpine Az to collect Luna blue agate, spent a couple of hrs collecting and filled a 5 gal bucket, spent the night in alpine, drove to Williams to see the grand kids and take the family out to dinner, next day headed down to burro creek to collect pastilite agates, spent 3 hrs collecting filled a 5 gallon bucket, then drove to Buckeye to spend the night , next morning we stopped by saddle mountain to find fire agate, third time there, we finally found fire agate. It was a good trip collecting.
