Stupidly Swept a bunch of mouse droppings when deep cleaning my depression nest and i'm worried a week and some later
I live in a house with a pretty bad mouse problem, and I let my living space get very bad for a time, clutter and forgotten food sources, one day around 2 weeks ago I set to cleaning it, and have been keeping it clean since and put down mouse traps. But when I was cleaning I wasn't thinking and swept a bunch of mouse droppings and was breathing pretty heavily as I was moving stuff around.
I've worried for a few days but felt fine, but today i'm starting to feel a bit off, I don't have a full blown fever but I feel warmer than usual, and I'm sore but I have been working out. I'm hoping it's just the sensationality of the recent news spurring back the worry.
The signs against it: I'm in NEW YORK, which has had only 6 cases from 1993 to 2023.
I sadly have a history of health anxiety which i'm hoping is the case now. But I also worry that i'd be turned away if it is an emergency due to the recent news and anxiety history.
