
So I’ve been thinking about this cat thing. I saw someone’s suggestion of just selling it which saves the trouble of feeding it all the time. And saves me from feeling bad if I let it die.
However I’m hoping in the future of the game, the cat will have some changes. Such as when you’re within a certain proximity to the cat your mental stats will increase gradually.
Also to enable longer mission outings dropping the cat off at one of the merchants to be a “cat sitter” would be a nice option. The cat sitter would feed the cat either at certain times of the day or at a certain health stat number of the cat when it gets low enough. Then you’d have to supply the cat sitter with food to feed it. When the cat sitter runs out of food they stop feeding it.
Or they could run up a tab perhaps and charge you (plus interest) for the food they fed it when you return to them.
Edit: I sold the cat to the Gunsmith. And first off I get it’s a little silly: digital cat isn’t real. However it bugs me that once I sold it the health meter of the cat continues to go down. So in my hopes of selling it and it going to a place that could better care for it, I will have to instead accept that it’s just going to die anyways. Kind of a bummer.
