Sorry in advance if this is noob level question, I am extremely new to audio and audio equipment.

I use the truthear blue 2 and plug them into a umc22 with an adaptor and have some hissing/popping that occurs when using them and have been looking in trying to fix it, something I have tried are ground loop isolators (which does make the sound alot quieter) and impedance adaptors (which make it sounds different and does not stop the popping/hissing).

I was wondering if an amp would help as I thought the reason might be becasue of the blue 2's low impedance, but am not sure.

Any help would be very much appricaited.
