I'm new to home reno stuff and caulked my baseboards with waterproof caulking before I finished painting the walls or baseboards. The paint just comes off now. I tried going over it with regular caulking so I could paint it, but when I pulled the tape off, all the paint came off too. I've wasted so much time trying to fix this mistake. Do I have to cut the old caulking off or how do I go about fixing this?
