I have been teaching for 6 years now. I worked in NYC ofr 3 years and FL for 3 years. Each year I always said "this is my final year". I am at the point where I really don't want to teach anymore. Every year is curriculum updates, switching grade levels, new material etc so its repetitive and I am burnt out.

I am afraid of leaving because of vacation (PTO) and benefits. Can someone who left tell me if it was worth it and what do you do now?

I also make 87k at my current school, I have 3 degree's. Teaching is all I've known it was my very first job and Idk if I am going to be making a mistake by leaving.
