I’ve been trading mainly in the FX space for the past few years, and I recently noticed something interesting about my own trading psychology and journey.

Lot size:
When I trade with very small positions, such as multiple 0.01 lots, I tend to perform worse. I find myself holding onto losing trades for too long instead of cutting losses, and at the same time, I hesitate to take profits when I should.

Recently, I started increasing my position sizes slightly, such as 0.03 lots or higher, and oddly enough, it seems to be working better for me psychologically and in terms of discipline.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you overcome these issues, and what solutions worked for you? I’d love to hear your experiences and insights as I continue refining my strategy and mindset.

Hi Everyone,

I’ll be heading to Tokyo in about 2 weeks, and one of the main things on my to-do list is hunting for singles and hopefully picking up a few booster boxes to degen open while I’m there.

For those who have visited Tokyo recently, how are the card prices compared to your home countries? I’ve heard mixed opinions that some people mentioned that prices in Japan are actually higher nowadays, so I’m curious how true that is based on your experience.

Also, if I want to try my luck with booster boxes, where would you recommend buying them from? I know I could technically just order online, but honestly it doesn’t feel the same compared to buying boxes directly in Japan and ripping them there.

Do you guys also have a rough gauge on how much booster boxes or high-end singles usually go for over there? Especially cards like PSA 10 Manga Zoro/Law and similar chase cards.

Would really appreciate any shop recommendations so I can plan my itinerary around them as well.

I already have Akihabara on my list, but would love recommendations for specific shops in the area, or even stores in other parts of Tokyo/Japan worth checking out.

PS: I’m not expecting to find older boxes like OP01–OP09/10 or anything unrealistic like that hahaha.
