I've put together a short survey but I'm hitting walls trying to distribute it. Reddit posts get filtered, cold outreach feels intrusive, and I want to do this properly rather than spam-blast people.
For anyone here who's done early-stage research with merchants - what worked?
– Best channels to reach scaling merchants without being annoying?
– Communities that are actually friendly to research conversations?
– Things you'd avoid in hindsight?
– Or is the answer "talk to 30 merchants directly, skip the survey"?
Non-technical founder here, pre-product. Trying to validate before writing code. Would genuinely value any guidance from people who've been through this.
