I just finished vengeful spirit which was I found a slog for some reason. I know MoM is one of the best and I'm kinda worn down after this many Heresey books and I know there are a bunch of fillers ahead, am I missing anything critical if I skip ahead and read MoM as a palate cleanser?

Edit: I intend to read the important books before it at some point but was looking forward to MoM so just wanted to make sure theres no books that really need to be read first (after the magnus/prospero arc which i've already read)
