Hi gang, having flown out of a number of small airports over the last decade, I always wonder what the BF team do in between flights. Take Exeter Airport as an example, some days during winter there’s an international arrival first thing and then another one about eight hours later. Obviously no immigration controls on the way out (although I imagine there’s some form of departure admin) so what are officers doing for eight hours between arrivals? Do they work split shifts, or all jump on a minibus up to Bristol or over to Newquay, or do sea port stuff at Exeter or Plymouth?
