Ive been thinking about this a lot lately Every time I try to lose weight I start off strong eating less being more disciplined, doing everything right And at first Ill see some progress But then it slows down Or completely stalls And my first instinct is always the same eat even less try harder push more But the weird thing is the more I do that the harder it feels My energy drops I feel more obsessed with food and my body just doesn’t seem to respond the same way anymore It makes me wonder if for some of us the issue isnt effort but how our body reacts after repeated dieting Has anyone else experienced this cycle?

For a long time I really thought the problem was me Every time my weight stalled I assumed I just needed more discipline so Id eat less push harder and try to be more “perfect” At first Id see a bit of progress then everything would slow down, especially around my stomach No matter how hard I tried, it felt like my body just stopped responding Thats when it started to affect me mentally I felt stuck frustrated and honestly a bit defeated It felt like I was doing everything right but getting nowhere Looking back I think the constant “push harder” approach was actually keeping me in that cycle What finally helped me was following a simple system that focused more on stability and consistency instead of extremes. I stopped trying to force results and focused on building something I could actually maintain Its been slower but it’s the first time it feels like my body is working with me instead of against me Has anyone else experienced this with PCOS?
