First of all I would like to state that fact that there is even 1 person in this group let alone 1000 is just barbaric. This absolutely needs to be addressed and those people found.
My issue lies within the CNN which clearly has misused date to paint a grossly exaggerated representation of the situation to better suit the narrative.
The fact that a global news corporation can deliberately share false data as fear mongering for women and to further demonise a mostly innocent group of people AND have it believed and spread around us actually terrifying. Where does that end?
There's no reason to fuel women's resentment towards men and make them more fearful of something that statistically is so unlikely to happen and does nothing but divide us even more.
Now, had the article had just stated "1000 men found to be part of a rape academy" id have been far more compassionate about the issue as it is disgusting.
Yet the fact that they clearly tried to make it even worse than it is really ruined rhe impact it could've had.
Please let me know what you think or if I'm just focusing on the wrong issue.
