Hi everyone, hoping to get some guidance from people in the field.
A bit about me: I’m 22F, based in Kaloor, and I graduated with a B.Com. I’ve also completed training in accounting and HR, along with a short course certification in the field.
For the last few months I’ve been actively job hunting, but most of the openings I come across (or get callbacks for) end up being sales roles, which isn’t what I’m looking for. I’d really like to start my career in accounting or HR.
A few questions for those working in the field here:
• Where do entry-level accounting roles in Kochi usually get posted? Are there specific job portals or local firms that hire freshers regularly?
• Are there particular areas of accounting (audit, taxation, payroll, etc.) where it’s easier to break in as a fresher?
• How did you land your first accounting job in Kochi?
