Hi everyone, need advice.
I’ve been renting this unit for almost 6 months now. During the first few months, super peaceful, minimal noise, okay environment. That’s actually one of the reasons why I agreed to a 1-year contract.
But in the last 3 months, things changed a lot.
May bagong renters na halos every weekend may inuman sessions sa labas (daanan pa palabas ng gate), maingay but I tolerated it since gabi naman and graveyard shift ako. (Worried lang sa ibang kapitbahay na normal sleep sched). Yung katabi ko mismo, madalas din may inuman sa tapat ng unit nila na may kantahan, harutan, etc.
Then recently, nag school break yung mga bata… and this is where it got worse.
Every morning hanggang hapon:
Maraming batang naglalaro, nagsisigawan (mga batang visitors lang nila nung una pero ang tagal na nandito).
May mga parents din na tumatambay (visitors lang din nila to nung una).
May aso pa na sobrang tahol nang tahol
Basically, buong tulog ko (daytime) puro ingay. Then pag hapon, adults naman yung maingay.
I already raised this concern sa landlady, pero walang nangyari. Ang hirap din magreklamo kasi technically “daytime” yung ingay, pero yun nga yung tulog ko dahil night shift ako.
Another issue: “No pets allowed” sa contract, pero yung kapitbahay may aso, so technically breach yun. Now I’m thinking of moving out early, pero naka 1-year contract ako and may clause na forfeited ang deposit if early termination. Malaki rin yung deposit so sayang talaga.
Question:
May chance ba na marefund ko yung deposit if I move out early dahil sa noise + breach (pet policy)? Or considered pa rin na voluntary termination on my part?
