Please could magic circle associates share their PQE and pay? Trying to decide if I should move from a US firm but the lack of transparency over how much I will make over the next 2-3 years is staggering.

Recently read the book Second Estate by Ray Madoff on measures typically used by the billionaires in the US to reduce their tax and one first principle question asked in the book is about the unfairness of taxing labour at a higher rate to the act of (predominantly) passive investing. Loved the book and highly recommend if you want to be infuriated about the tax burden of highly salaried individuals.
