hi guys, i'm a senior in high school who has committed to slc because i think i would perform well with their curriculum style + they gave me a generous scholarship. my gpa isn't crazy high (3.4) and i think my extracurriculars, class rigor and test scores were the selling point for my application. this year i'm taking 9 classes (compared to my school's regular 7) through being on campus, dual enrollment at a local cc, as well as online classes. It's a heavy workload, but i've generally been able to manage (straight a's except for one b+ last semester). My schedule consists of two AP classes + an AP test i'm not taking the class for, three dual classes, three honors, and one regular online.

all of my graduation requirements are fulfilled except for this semester's english, which i am not worried about. i finished my math requirement sophomore year, but i have been taking classes since then anyway. i made the mistake of doing college registration a day late and ended up in a session 4 (6 week long) online college algebra course this semester. I'm not performing as well as i would like to, and there is a chance i might fail the class. I have already reached out to the professor about extra credit but her ratemyprofessor says she doesn't really respond to emails, and her office hours are once a week for 45 minutes.

despite my otherwise good academic standing, i'm afraid that getting a d/f in this class will cause my offer and/or scholarship to get rescinded. I have been putting as much time as the day allows into trying to understand the material. however, i have also been told by the slc admissions dean that they do not accept dual enrollment credits anyway, which is good because if i do end up with an ill grade, it will not be calculated into my college gpa.

does anybody have experience with a situation like this for sarah lawrence? or do you know of a case where an offer or scholarship has been rescinded? how often does this actually occur?

also, my intended concentrations of study are not necessarily math related, if that means anything.
