This is my intro to night vision. Got the tube and housing for $350 and after buying lenses, came out to just under $500. Zero black spots or blems and appears to be very low hours. The specs are just dust in the diopter.
I’ve been lurking for a while and after trying out some old Gen 0’s I was hooked. Scooped up a Litton M911, the corresponding objective lens, and a ITT 6010 eye piece for just under $600. Only issue I’m aware of rn is a broken power switch. How should I clean the black FOD off the tube? Pretty sure it’s disintegrated packing foam.Looking forward to diving in!
Dad had these Israeli NV5151’s in storage since ‘83. Got a replacement battery and a cheap IR light to test them and they work great. Figured I’d post them since information seems to be sparse. Still debating on if I keep them original or modify them with a better battery system and helmet mount.
